my depo shot was due march 10,2007. i did not go back to get the shot. i was wondering how long does it take for you to become pregnant after being on the shot for almost three years. and what things could i take to wash the shot out of my system. i know penicillin will do the job. but do you know of anything else.

First off... the depo shot... or anytype of birthcontrol never the less, could change your inside body totally... so you may never have kids.. there is that chance... but it usually takes a bout a year to get out of your system... if your lucky

Everybody's body is different. It could take you no time to get pregnant, but it could take more than a year. There is no clear answer for this question unfortunately. My sister was on depo and the pill (at different times of course) for 5 years and she's been trying to get pregnant for the last year with no luck so far. Have patience and have fun trying. It will happen. Good luck!

that depends, why were your one depo in the first place? And I have never heard of anti-biotics cleaning anything out of your system. you should get back your regular cyles in about 2 months or so, just dring a lot of water, good diet. exercise and a positive attitude can do wonders. good luck
