I can't decide between going to a good private school or a good public school. I mean how much do law schools factor in where you went to for undergrad?

It doesnt really matter all that much where you go for undergrad. BU and UCSB are pretty good schools and I think law schools will look at what school you went to, but they are more interested in your LSAT scores and your grades.

Remember, very good LSAT scores and very good grades gets you into a very good law school and the higher your scores and grades are, the better the law school. Law firms look highly upon graduates from top law schools, so it would be better if you do the best you can in BU or UCSB and on your LSATs.

good luck:-)

As long as you went to a good school (both of these qualify) and did well, it doesn't matter.
