Good question.
Here's three answers:
1. If you knew something all the scientists had never learned, that would be proof that in one way at least, you were 'smarter" than any or all of them; without that discovery, you
might be smarter but it would be an opinion--you could offer no proof of your statement...
2.I'm a scientist and I'm smarter than you are, because I'm giving you this answer which you couldn't have thought of or written; so just because of me, you can't be smarter than "any or all scientists"--you'd have to be second to me...
3.The way you know you're highly intelligent is simple:
you stop suspecting it only on the day you actually think of something hardly anyone else could have come up with.
A one-in-a-million achievement. Such as, you're 22, you had hardly every read or written poetry, and in the second poem you every write you come up with this image--the sun sinking into a California smog layer looks like an dissolving tablet in an Alka Seltzer commercial, so you call that gold sun,
"A slowly-soft decaying coin
Sunk in seas of time..."
There's your three proofs.

Your brain must be really stuffed as there are millions of scientists and to be smarter than all of them would be tough. I would bet even one scientist would do a better job of spelling genius and what, even if we give you wud and u as internet jargon.
The simple answer is take a test so you can show anyone the result, although I suspect that anyone talking to you would doubt it pretty quickly.

If you said you were smarter than all other scientists, I would like to ask you a few questions. I could care less if you were a genius or not, as long as you could give me an answer that was logically correct.

You could be smarter than them, its a well known fact that many high achieving people who are seemingly geniuses have only an average IQ- they have just worked harder for their qualifications. Of course you may not have the knowledge of a scientist but knowledge has nothing to do with how intelligent you are.

It is not " The Intelligence on how to do something" that makes a great scientist.
It is the " Wisdom of when not to use it" that makes a great scientist.
Note: Knowledge can be taught, but wisdom is temperment through experience.

Not being able to spell might be our first clue; especially since there is a spell checker right above where you are typing.

Well, for one thing, you'd be able to spell. Or at least figure out what that 'check spelling' button was for. So I think we can easily rule out 'genius'.

I would know you aren't a genius, because you spelled it wrong.
