You have some hard decisions to make. Assuming you are an able-bodied adult, with no dependents under the age of 18, it is entirely up to you to acquire your own money to live on. Usually that means a job is needed for a steady income flow. Available to all low-income Americans, is Food (Stamps) Assistance program, administered by Dept. of Human (Social) Services. Medicaid for medical needs may also be available.

If you are an adult with children under the age of 18, you can go to Human Services/ Social Services and apply for Temporary Aid to Needy Families. They will assist you in
numerous ways (not all cash) to get a job and get back on your feet, often helping with childcare expense, sometimes transportation assistance, Medicaid and Food Assistance.
For your entire lifetime, you are allowed only 5 years of TANF help. ( Although, most people are leaving this assistance after only 18 mo.) Along with these services, they connect you with jobs or job training so you are better able to support yourself and your family.

If an adult is disabled, and cannot work, you can apply for Social Security Disability. This is a cash payment, with additional medical benefits. (This is a long and drawn-out process, and you may have to appeal their decision once or twice before being approved, sorry to say, not all who need it can get it)

There is a lot to this question that is left to asumption but I will answer the best I can. 1. you can get income again, try to be confidant enough in yourself to go out there and get another job (of course, you already knew this) 2. borrow money from friends or a bank (if you have this option) 3. Live with friends or family or someone who is willing to support you. 4. Some people learn how to scam to make a living but I don't encourage this option. 5.maybe you can get government assistance 6. you may have to go to a shelter until you are on your feet again.
7. unfortunately, if all else fails you will be forced to live outdoors and without knowing where your next meal is coming from 8. if your lucky you can find a sugar mama/daddy who will fall madly in love with you and not mind supporting you.

You'll start eating up my taxdollars by being on welfare. When you could be out working...so don't do that. I already pay for enough people.
