When I get them the needle stings my vein all the time. Does it happen to you also?

Yeah, they sting. And once, a nurse got the needle stuck in the wrong vein in my arm, so she had to move the needle around until she found the vein. I wanted to kick her.

It stings me too, that is from the anti coagulant on the tip of the needle. But blood work only takes a minute or so, no big deal if it's going to save your life right?

It hurts a little. The last time I had a blood test done it bruised a little. No biggie, though. It hurt more pulling the tape with the cotton off later!

only when the person doing the sticking can't find a vein and refuses to ask for help.

no but i hate it cuz i hate when ppl touch my pressure points or veins, im wierd like that ;)
