Of course you know things about yourself that nobody else can know. Here's the great part though, you can not percieve yourself as other people do though. You know your inner self better, but most people have no clue how they seem to everyone else.

I disagree and agree. I disagree because there are some things that you do without thinking that someone else may notice that you never pay attention to. I think that noone knows you better than your parent(s) They knew you before you knew yourself. And if you have a spouse that you've been with for some time I think it's safe to say that they know you pretty well too. I agree because noone knows what you're thinking but you.

I agree with you. As individuals, not one of us has had the exact same life experience as anyone else. Others may have a clue about you, or can relate or empathize, but we are all unique. And even though some of us may be in denial, we do know ourselves at our core. (Whether or not we choose to accept it, is a whole other issue!)

God knows us better than we know ourselves. As stated in the bible he knows even the number of hairs on our head and what we will say before we say it and he reads hearts. But other than that, peoplewise, we definately know ourself better than anyone, even if it may only be at an unconscious level. I disagree that parents may know more about their children they do themselves. There's many things kids dont tell their parents, I dont tell my parents my feelings and why I react the ways i do. We ourselves usually know what we really want and what works for us. Some may say that a therapist may find out something of their client they dont know of but really we have all the internal resources we need to solve any problem we have, it takes some probing.

I agree. Some people THINK they know you better then yourself...but they are the ones who always seem to screw you over in the end. People know who you are according to what they see of you, but you don't always show them your true self. Sometimes we don't know ourselves completely...but still better than others.

I totally disagree - I have one freind who knows how I will react before I do...everytime. He totally knows me better than I know myself....I've known him a couple of decades - and he's always right...it drives me nuts at times, buthe's a great person to ask for advice from for just the same reason.

Sorry, I can't always agree with that. People have a way of convincing themselves that they are right, of course, me included. At times it's hard to see the other persons view of the obvious. We rationize our feelings. It's simply a human fraility.

i agree although i think sometimes people will refuse to admit to themselves certain things about how they feel or act or stuff and sometimes ignoring those things or passing off as something else for so long could actually lead to u believing that which would mean thats something u dont no about urself cuz u hide it from yourself

I agree because no one knows my inner thoughts unless I choose to let them. Some things are just best left inside and secret.

I agree completely. You are the only one that has to live with you 24.7 so I firmly believe we know ourselves better than anyone else. I wife knows me through and through but there are always parts of our minds that we only share with ourselves.
