When it keeps you from doing the right thing like saying that you are wrong about something or that you are sorry. Pride is also bad if it keeps you from asking for help when you know that you need it.

When your pride keeps you from admitting you are wrong or asking forgiveness from someone including yourself for having said or done something to hurt them. Also, when it keeps you from having loving relationships because your pride won't allow you to share your feelings or emotions with another person. One more thing, it can be bad when your pride keeps you from asking for help when you truly need it.

pride is bad when you choose your pride over doing what's best for yourself, or when you choose pride over doing the right thing, you think your right even when you know your not.

I think one's modest pride is OK but anyone who feels arrogant or too proud to the extent that he or she acquires vanity, it is just too far.
