what's your pet peeve?

Question

as my friends know I have a few....
1) rubbing any semi smooth surface against or between your fingers (i.e. rubbing pages of a book to separate them)
2) scraping dry markers across paper
3) listening to a small smelly dog smack its lips and lick itself
4) trying to logically reason with an overly emotional individual (I have learned it's better to just give up and offer support)

Now there are a few things that DON"T bother me that bother other people alot:
being dirty without washing it off
fingernails on chalkboard
rubbing a balloon
any smell

ya, that's one of mine too...alot of mine have to do with the sense of touch I think.

My pet peeve: people who are rude to others, for no apparent reason. The person didn't do anything to them, so I always ask; what did they ever do to you?!

Right this minute the thing that really drives me up the wall is when people (for what ever reason) don't bother to turn on their blinker ( like I can read their mind or something). Another thing that really bothers me is that people seem to think that it is perfectly ok to pull out in front of you going slower and then have the gall to wonder why people flip them off!!! I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE DRIVE SLOW IN THE FAST LANE (LEFT HAND LANE) AND DON'T OR WON'T PULL OVER INTO THE SLOW LANE OF TRAFFIC ( THE RIGHT HAND LANE)!!!!!!!
The reason that I am so throughly frustrated is that I drive four days a week (100 miles round trip) to go to college to finish my bachelors degree.

My biggest pet peeve is what I tell my son is the biggest lesson he needs to learn in growing up because so many people never learn it and I really HATE it!! When you make a mistake (especially at work)....just admit you made a mistake and take what's coming....be grown up about it, be mature enough to say "I made a mistake" (for whatever reason", don't make up excuses and take your licks. I hate it when people can't just say those words and they make excuses and then everyone suffers and the person who made the mistake looks like the slimey little weasel that they are because they aren't mature enough to admit to their mistake!!!
THAT is my biggest pet peeve!!

Unnecessary noise .. (why slam, when tapping works too?)
People moving objects around and leaving them where they dont belong.. (where's my damn coffee cup?)
People that demand favors instead of asking for them
Wood touching my tongue (ice cream sticks..!!)
People that talk waaay too loud for no reason at all.

There's plenty more .. but these are the first few that come to mind.

When people want an explanation that I can't give them and they insist on having a reason.
I also don't like it when people try to back onto my car or stick the nose of their car out to far and I have to swerve around them not to get in an accident.

Some of my pet peeves are people who take stuff out of the refrigerator and never puts it back in. Leaving a cigarette burning in the ashtray and not smoking it.

The bad grammar thing is way up there on my list,along with just plain ignorance of the English language,stupidity, loud people and bad drivers.
I forgot,people that drive with their turn signals on drive me nuts too.

I HATE WHEN DOG's LICK THEMSELVES! It's the most nasty sound in this universe! I also hate when people are obsessed with washing their hands, and are always leaving after they eat or pet my dog. It's time-consuming.

People on cell phones, people who talk during movies, when someone says yummy, people who blow their nose at the table, people who think they know more about me then I do and so on.
