I liked MTV when I could turn it on during the middle of the day and be liable to actually find a rock music video that I liked. That was back in the mid 90s when they would routinely play Foo Fighters, Stone Temple Pilots, etc.
Once the late 90s rolled around, MTV started to change big time with the pop-music explosion. MTV lost a lot of popularity with me when that happened. Now today MTV hardly plays music on it's main channel, or MTV 2 to begin with. And personally I don't watch MTV, and I don't really care to watch it either.
Especially nowerdays when I can watch all most any music video I want with use of the internet.

Yeah I do! I really used to "want my MTV" all the time! I miss Alan Hunter and Martha Quinn and the "hip clip of the week" and most of all the music, all day and night! I think they may as well take the "M" out of it now or go back to the way it was in the rockin' "80s!

it's sad how little actual music is shown on MTV. I do enjoy some of the shows but I would prefer a lot more videos over Laguna Beach and Punk'd...

Omg, I do! I lived for Headbangers Ball! That and I'd turn it on first thing in the morning as I was getting ready for school. They sure have taken the M usic out of MTV haven't they??

I know, normally they play them late at night, and early morning, but I was up at 4am this morning, nothing but reality T.V show, so I watched VH1 Top 20 Countdown, they should rename the station, along with MTV2. Watch Fuse...haha

I DO!! i so miss it becasue now its all dumb reality shows which are totally lame if u know what i mean but yeah i really do miss them playing actual music

hell yah i do. mtv has turned into such corprate ****. its an insult to have that channel even have the name 'music' in it because the only music the play is on trl which is for ******* retards

Yeah MTV & VH1 ain't what they, use to be. Both are full of stupid show's. I don't care for My sweet 16 nore show's like, Next and so on......It's lost it TOUCH.
