what amazes me is the grammer and spelling. If i couldnt spell i'd at least use spell check.

PJ's has been used for a long time so it doesn't phase me. But some of the newer abbreviations bug me like "fam". Or the text message abbreviations are weird. n

I hate them. It's a result of the literacy rate declining over the past generation. People can't spell any more and don't even try to. It's getting worse and worse. I recall the days when 'spell check' was a dictionary. I wonder how many kids can hand write these days?

Yes it does. Combine it with Filipino teenagers who are desperately seeking attention here in the Internet and you've got a linguistic and grammatic disaster. And I also hate crooked letter typing. But hey, it's there way of life and no matter how it may bother us, we can't really do anything about it.

Wow!!!! If that's all that bothers you, you must have an awesome life. Other ppl are worried about where their next meal is going to come from. We have thousands of troops who are in Iraq, their families praying they come home alive, and complete. Homeless ppl on the streets. I could go on and on, but I think I got my point across. Don't sweat the petty stuff, and don't pet the sweaty stuff.

Well I kinda like the PJs one, as it is also the initials of all my kids put together (theres three and two begin with J;)
But I know what you mean. My oldest is always saying *IDK* (I don't know) or JK (just kidding) and it drives me crazy!
The other thing that drives me nuts that all the kids seem to be saying is *niiiiiiiiiiiice* in a sarcastic manner.........ugggh!

Some of them bother me. I hate all chatspeak/short hand. Stop being lazy and type out the whole word, I say.
