I'm a Police Task Force Detective. Which means my team gets called out when there's real danger. I got shot in my arm and my left butt cheek in a Narc raid. Since then I haven't been able to 'GET IT UP'. I'm only 31. I have a docters appointment in a week but I just wanted to ask others for a little guidence before I go in there and they tell me I got to get it snipped or something. Thanx

Stress!!!
If you were only shot in the soft tissue of the buttocks and it did not touch your testes i would say it is stress.
And you said in other questions no sleep because of your pregnant wife's needs and the stress of being shot and soon becoming a father is enough stress for any man.
Seek council as well as your doctor. You may need someone to talk to or temporally put on meds for stress.

your body experienced severe trauma and it would not be that unusual for the endocrine system to respond by changing the levels of various hormones. wait to see what the Dr. says and maybe request some blood work to check the test levels

maybe your trying to hard (no point inteded) maybe it has to be the right person to get you going again. what ever you do, don't get it sniped it might get useful one day soon.

Two possible causes,
(a) shock; if so it will pass
(b) medication; you might have been given a muscle relaxing drug. if so then, after withdrawal of the drug things will be OK

you may qualify for permanent disability for brain damage.
