Can I keep a glofish which is a genticaly modifyed zebra danios 10 of them in a 16 gallon tank? Max size 2 in.

Yes. Make sure you watch your water parameters and do your water changes. But you are only slightly overstocked which is absolutely fine with fish of that size and bioload :)
Wish I could buy some here (they're illegal in Canada).

you need more of them. Zebra Danios are a schooling fish and I would recomend no less than six of them.

No problem at all. 10 will easily be right at home in a 16 gallon tank. And don't let people fool you with the 1" to 1 gallon "rule". That's about as bogus as it gets.

My local pet store expert told me that you should have one gallon of tank water for every total inch of fish in the tank. If your danios are all about an inch or smaller, you should be fine.

Its a bit overcrowded for a 16g, but if you have a good filter and do weekly water changes of 25% and add no other fish I think it could work.
