No, it's not.

Money certainly enables your buy things, and is certainly useful to have, but it's really nothing more than a tool. Like most tools, money can be used be used to do great good, both for yourself and for others, but by the same token, it can be used poorly or to do harm. Simply having a hammer does not make you a carpenter; being a carpenter, takes time, effort, creativity, imagination, and skill.

The same stands true of money, just because you've got it doesn't mean a thing. It's what you do with what you've got that counts; that does not presuppose that you've got to have a ton of it to be happy or to do good things.

There are plenty of poor people out there who are perfectly happy, yes, they may want more, but they don't let those desires ruin their lives. Instead they find ways to work with what they've got and to work harder to get the things they don't have.

Similarly, there are plenty of comparatively wealthy people out there who are perfectly miserable even for all their wealth. These are the folks who wouldn't know joy if it walked up and smacked them in the face. Everyone thinks these folks are happy because the drive fancy cars have nice clothes, and all the newest, hottest, coolest things. But the things can't really *make* you happy, they in and of themselves are just more tools, which like that hammer can't build a house by itself.

If you really want the "answer to everything", look to yourself; your creativity and imagination will likely solve most things, but don't be shocked when there are things that you still can't solve. Universal truths are really rare, and the one that answers the "everything" question is probably the rarest of them all. But if you ever do find it, please keep it to yourself a world where that answer is known would be a really boring place to live.

No, it doesn't give you love or health. I was with a guy who was very wealthy and treated me very bad... I had all sorts of things but not his love or respect. It took me a long time, but I eventually realized money isn't everything and that I would never be truly happy if I didn't leave him.
