Right now on the TV, my husband cannot pass up "You've Got Mail", "Sleepless in Seattle", "War of the Worlds", and "V for Vendetta". He HAS to stop and watch the remainder of these same movies no matter how many times that he has seen them before. He's driving me crazy. I have the scripts memorized word-for-word. That's why I'm here on Yahoo! Can anyone else identify with me?

10 Things I hate about you
Save the Last Dance
Sound of Music
Wizard of Oz
Shawshank Redemption
EverAfter
VanWilder
Finding Nemo
ZooLander
Green Card
Empire Records

These movies for some reason I could watch over and over and over again, I do have much of the scripts memorized.
I love them .....BUT my son has a list as well and we don't always "connect" (most of the time but not always) on movies to watch. His lastest one is Fast and the Furious --Tokyo Drift I can't stand that damn movie and so yes, when they are not MY movies I can't even stand being in the same room *wink*
Thus, like you, I am here at Yahoo Answers.

Sorry, some films are like good conversations that you never tire of hearing again. I am the same way with the Friday movies, The Color Purple and anything with starring Sophia Loren. Give your husband a break.

Cable T.V. is has become mental masturbation. Free him from his chains of servitude. Mindlessly changing channels to find just the right 'mood'. Massaging the mind into the oblivion of illiteracy. Get him to read a book. They're aways better than the movie. Oops, gotta-go my team is on...

I hate watching the same movies over and over again. If I really like a movie I might watch it twice or maybe even three times but I can not stand watching a movie over and over and over gain.

Overboard with Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell. It's generally on at least twice a month. If there's nothing else on, I'l sit and watch the whole thing.
