Country - Dixie Chicks and The Wreckers are awesome but also pop music has a bit of a negative vibe attached to it when you're over 20... Why should I be embarrased that I have Spice Girls or S Club 7 still on my ipod?

post-rock bands, with all their imagination and originality, they're still pushed away in favour of the mainstream bands, many of whom sound so samey and boring.
I also think jazz doesn't get a lot of respect, as well as electronica (not the radio friendly crap, the cool stuff) and ambient.

I think that rap doesnt get enough respect it is sterotyped as gangster music when really its talks about the same things as other music such as country

classical music, it is one of the oldest form of music and the base of many other type of genres. People think it is boring but I think that it is wonderful and beautiful.

yes, I think it's jazz too... especially jazz manouche, my favorite type of all... it's an European type of jazz, which combines jazz with gypsy music...

Trance, hands down, frontwards and backwards. People in the USA don't even KNOW what it is! Very sad, and all my DJs are so incredibly talented.
