For all of you in your euphoric bubbles, your picture-postcard lives; rejoice in your lack of omniscience for the cut will be swift and painless.

The remaining live not in fear, for that is reserved for the unknown. Dwindling numbers are bolstered by faith in empty maxims that knowledge is power. Does power corrupt in damnation?
As the scales tip, the templars; defenders of humanity's innocence; are once again betrayed and looked upon with contempt. The very pedestrians they were sworn to protect turned their backs on them. For acknowledgment of the knights' existence is a sore reminder of the reality they've shunned.
Now all live in fear of the Cynic's Scythe.

The truth can hurt but it usually depends on what the truth really is. Sometimes a lie can steer one away from the truth but in the end the truth will always come out and the lie would of just made the truth hurt more than what it would of initially.

Deep down, people know the truth and it hurts them so they just deny it until someone flat out tells them the truth.

The truth only hurts if were intentionally avoiding knowing it. If you live in the harsh light of reality all of the time, then you don't experience those surprises.

I know the truth though it doesnt stop it hurting, the benifit being knowing it and acepting it is a safegaurd from blindly venturing on xxx
