funny how beauty can only be seen while the person is behaving well,when they show their true colours all you can view them as is ugly as sin,where as the person who may be viewed as plain, mostly blossoms before your eyes xxxx

well its a mixture. Anyone who says looks are not important at all is lying. If you found someone physically repulsive, not matter how nice they were you would not be attracted to them. But on the positive note, I have met guys I did not find attractive to start with, but after a conversation with them, because of their personality, they became physically attractive. The right combination of wit, charm, warmth and confidence inside someone can make them very very attractive.

Definitely both... I like a guy that is wonderful on the inside and looks intelligent on the out, I never judge a book by its cover though and I have alot of friends b/c of it

If I don't know him well then it will be his looks, But sometimes they turn out to be something I didn't expect.
If I know him well then it will be what's in the insides, but sometimes when I find out more about them, I realize I don't know this person enough.

Looks first, then you get to know them a little and see if it's worth the effort. Ever hear a guy go "wow, look at the personality on that chick?" Of course not. He saw her great figure, beautiful hair, gorgeous eyes, or whatever, first, and THEN got to know her. Hardly anyone wastes time on someone they feel to be ugly or hard to look at, in whatever way.
