Definitely not.
It might be worth it to pay full price for a school if the school was very elite and they had a program that you were very excited about. But Pace is not elite and the hospitality industry is not a place where you can quickly make a big salary and pay back huge loans. I think you would be way better off in a state school studying business administration and then go into a training program with one of the big hotel companies after you finish. You will have just as good a career in the end and you will be many $10,000's ahead!
Not worth it.!

I can relate to this one. This is just my experience though.
I took schooling in Canada and received my design degree. My semester cost was about 2000 Canadian, averaging 4000 a year. Then I came to Manhattan and took some schooling here. My semester cost was about 15000 American, Averaging 30000 a year.
In the end I leaned way more in the less expensive school. The students all wanted to be there and most of them payed there way. Everyone was trying there hardest and students pushed each other to be the best that they could be.
In NYC the students seemed to be spooled and did not seem to care about the classes. Most of them had there parents paying for there education and they took advantage of there parents generosity. As a result the whole class suffered. There was not the same competition and drive that my other school had. The teachers were better on paper, but even they seemed disheartened by the lack of effort. They let classes out early and did not reprehend students for not doing work because the students, passing or not, were paying a ton of money just to go to class.
The teachers in the Canadian school may not have had the same credentials but they pushed the students hard and the students responded with great work. The teachers got to know the students and became mentors and friends as well. You did not want to let them down, yet alone yourself.
I am glad to have done both but if I had to pick one I would choose the one that was a fraction of the price. It was the best education I think I could have had.
In the end I just think it came down to who wanted it more. The students that had to pay there worn way even though it was the less expensive education, or the students that had there parents to pay the way and did not really understnad the value of an education.
Good luck.

In this situation I think you should research how much those jobs pay through the college career website. $40K will take you about 15 years to pay off if the job pays $10.00 per hour.
But if the college is a 1st or 2nd ranked tier then you might get chosen for a good job after graduation.
hope that helps.
