The fact that I have the ability to doubt is my claim to proper self criticism. I have no guarantees, however. I rather be my best and most knowledgeable critic.

yes I am, by being critical of my actions I am able to constantly improve and learn. Giving yourself the benifit of the doubt is a cop out, if there is a lesson to be learned or improvements to make you have to take them.
