Just because "he" might be chasing the other fish, doesn't guarantee that the "chasee" is female, however. But if you find eggs, you'll know! ;)

Is the other fish a goldfish, too? Because the first thought that jumps up is that male goldfish like to chase female goldfish around for several days before trying to spawn :)

goldfish are some of the meanest fish. that is just what they do. they are agressive in nature even with other goldfish. the best thing you can do is take the other fish out before your goldfish kills them.

their just playing or chasing each other of its turf. no harm.my guppies do that when preagnet(females of corse)
