Do you really want to know? It is kind of a long story but, okay. When i set up the account i tried every variation of my name that i could think of and strangely, they were all taken. The computer was suggesting i use something like bettina1533545168653 and i knew i would never remember all those numbers. So i sat and thought about it for several minutes and inspiration hit me...i would try bettina solas. Bettina is my first name, solas is Latin for alone or only. i am bettina alone. It worked and so now that is me. It is my artistic alter ego...it is the side of me that no one truly understands. Thanks for asking...and best wishes!

Saw a documentary about the "paper clip" project done by middle school students in Tennessee. As part of that project they received millions of paper clips as well as an actual train car from Germany that was used to transport Jewish and others to their deaths and to various concentration camps. They created a museum and memorial dedicated to all those precious people that were killed during the Nazi era. The paper clip was used by many in Europe as a silent protest against the atocities. In memory of all those murdered children, mothers, fathers, etc... I chose a variation of the name as represented by the nic.

like 10 minuets or so i had lots of ides for names so i wrote them all down and but them in a hat and picked one out and thats how i choose it
