John Elway had his moments most memorably "The Drive" but Favre has had one of the best careers ever. They are both Hall Of Famers for sure but I'd have to say Favre is better just because he can break almost every QB record there is especialy TD's and posibly games won if the Packers continue their success. Either way I'd take either one for my team but my first choice would be Favre because you know he isn't going to let you down with injuries.

Gotta be Elway. Not to take anything from Favre. Elway did alot more through out his career ( just ask Shottenhimer!) The only thing Farve has on Elway is the fact he was in one of the best movies ever!!!

While I still haven't forgiven him for "The Drive" I would have to say Elway hands down. But if I were building a team and had to settle for Favre, in his prime, I wouldn't be doing that bad.

favre hands down. he plays for the love of the game and know his time aint up yet. i'll miss him when he does retire. it'll be a big loss to the league. elway was a great qb though.

Favre should have done the respectable action and retired about 5 seasons ago.... Hes too slow to be a QB now.

Favre. He has more MVP's, they have the same number of rings, and Favre is the toughest player in all of football. The guy has started more than 200 straight games, even games after his father died, and his wife had been diagnosed with cancer.
