Why Do men still lie after they have been caught cheating???

I caught my man up with himself. I looked through his phone and found someone he was textin @ like1 and 2 in the morning and that number wasn't saved so i put it in my phone, then I found a different number that he was calling blocked and I put that in my phone too. I put his phone back and texted the random number like "hi this is____(my mans name) and my phone is dead. You still want me to come over?" this number texted back rite away and was like yes I miss you. Then i kept going on and finally I got a phone call from the number I saved out of his phone that he was calling blocked!!! I didnt answer and I knew some how these 2 numbers were tied together. So i waited until he came back in the room with me and called the number I was texting on speakerphone! A girl quickly answered and said( _______ my mans name) ive been thinkin about you all day baby. His jaw dropped and I said oh f***en really this is his girlfriend. She said well your man is my man and Im 2 months pregnant!!!!!

I'm so sorry that you are going through this. I think that they still lie because they think that they are going to somehow be able to fool you and are going to get out of trouble. If they fess up then, they know they have lost you. But if they lie, then there might still be some small chance that you will believe them and it will blow over.

Not that it makes you feel any better, but women do this too.

However, please do not be so sure and generalized the way you did. Some people don't lie.

Yes, it is hard to believe, there are actually many people they refuse to lie. You normally can not tell, because just like a well oiled machine, if there is nothing wrong, you see absolutely nothing but a smoothly running machine.

A honest man the same way. He carries on his daily activities, stop at a stop sign etc. and he just refuses to compromise his integrity for any price.

I'm sorry that this happened to you. No one deserves a rude awakening like the one you received. The truth of the matter is that most men are liars. They are like children. Instead of dealing with a reality that doesn't suit them, they choose to lie instead. Even when there's absolutely no point to it and they've been "cold busted", they still continue to lie. Many years ago I actually SAW my boyfriend (ex-boyfriend now) kiss another woman and he had the nerve to deny it! Can you believe that? Of course, you can. That's what they do (lie), they're just not very good at it. Consider it a blessing that you caught your boyfriend when you did. Let him go and live a life with his "baby's mama" and pass the heartbreak, lies, and deceit to her. Consider him a "non-issue" at this point and get on with your life. I am very sorry; that must be so frustrating for you. As for your question, men lie even after they have been caught cheating because no one wants to own up to such an action. When you do something really shitty you just wish it would blow over. However, don't regret really letting him have it. While he deserves to be completely written off, the more you obsess over it and try to make him miserable, the more justified he'll feel about his choices. Plus, it will extend the "healing process" (wow, that's such a stupid phrase). So for yourself, just try to move on and focus on yourself completely.

They do it because they like playing head games. Not every man is like that, but the ones that are sometimes brag about it. They have no remorse, they know that the woman they are with can either take it or leave. These types of guys are very heartless. They prey on the women who have low self esteem, so they gey used to treating us like crap! It's easy to say to stay away from these guys, but I've fallen for a couple of those types when I used to date. I don't know why they're like that, but I'm raising my 17 year old son to NOT be one of those.

I guess the reason some people keep lying even after they are caught is because they think someone would believe them. Such people usually have a pretty high opinion of themselves, even if it is unjustified.

There are good and bad in all walks of life. You managed to get a really rotten man, so dump him and never look back. Just remember, that was him, so don't blame all men on the actions of one. There are many really great guys out there who deserve a really great woman, but they don't deserve to be blamed for past history. Find yourself a good man, cherish him, trust him, and you (and he) will be immensely happy. That guy you described is a totally jerk and he and his little slutty woman who got pregnant to snag herself a man will be miserable, and they deserve each other. Sad for the kid, though. men lie because they don't want to get caught,. and they keep on cheating,. because they don't you know,. and if you don't know,. then it's best to keep up the lie,. unless you catch them red handed,. for example,. like maybe you did,. hope you work through this all,. if you want to,. I was caught cheating once,. and she did'nt know,. I wish I had kept lying,. and if I did,. she would'nt have known,. and maybe she would've bought the lie,.
