I think it was a plushie.
And also an edition of a manga I'm currently reading. Too bad that three-fourths of the pages are torn, so I can't read it...
Now, don't go thinking that I search in public trash cans, because I don't. At least I don't in the dirty ones...

Two things, one was a child's dresser in the shaker-style furniture, I sold it to a furniture dealers for $1,000. the other was a stuffed bird arrangement from the Victorian era, I still own it, and have refused offers of up to $3,000! I just love it too much! These were both found in the trash at the curb, in Chicago, on two separate occasions. My father collected aluminum doors to recycle for cash, and I found LOTS of stuff over the years.

I found a big baggie full of pot in the trash can by the fuel pumps at the 7-11....i was of course going to take it to the nearest police station but ummm i forgot.....

many many years ago, my ex went dumpster diving and found 2 big green trash bags filled with dried marijuana plants;
he also once found a portable dishwasher that had a leak, but we bought a replacement part for less than $5.- and used that thing for several years

i remember after a big flood hit my neighborhood one of my neighbors threw out a shnit load of baseball cards. i remember that that was really cool
not long ago my girlfriend went through a big dumpster and found like 5 bags of brand new kids clothes alot with tags still... cleaned em right up and they are great looking clothes...also a treadmill a kids playset and i found a good amount of wall moulding really nice stuff

well my dad works for waste managment and hes brought home brand new leather jackets from jc penny a crock pot rc cars and when pepsi was giving away point he got so many points that he got a brand new bike a set of sports ball a hat tshirt and sweat shirt hes also brought home golf clubs and golf ball a dirt bike and many many more oh and it all worked with nothing wrong with it
