Why did Bill Clinton lie under oath?

Nice "feel" good question without the depth and detail necessary to answer in a legal or ethical way.
If you are referring to Rove and other Bush advisors not testifying under oath to Congress WITHOUT a subpeona they should not and here is why.
This would set an unwanted precedent of every time Congress was suspicious of the Executive branch they would expect cabinet members to come and testify under oath. Congress can FORCE cabinet members to testify under oath but it has to be under a criminal charge with a subpeona.
If we allow one branch to do this then we have to let all. So if you want Rove to testify without a Subpeona you will have to have the White House summon say a member of Sen Feinsteins staff to testify in public under oath about her recent resignation from the Military Appropriations committee last month.
If you want to hear Rove testify, have the Senate or House subpeona him and bacj it with a criminal charge. Or petition your Congressman to submit a bill to change the LAW.
Stop "feeling" and start thinking!

A better question would be:
THINK ABOUT IT! It is a strange turn of events. Hillary gets $8 Million for her forthcoming memoir. Bill gets about $12 Million for his memoir yet to be written. This from two people who spent 8 years being unable to recall anything about past events while under oath.

That is an awful broad generalization. So you are saying no Republicans ever testify under oath? There must be a lot of Republicans in jail for obstruction of justice.

The stupidity of that question doesn't even justify an answer. Why don't the Dems actually try to accomplish something instead of simply bringing BS witch hunt investigations that do nothing besides waste tax dollars. If you follow politics whatsoever, you have to admit...they have done NOTHING since taking over.
