I know its not the healthiest, but Im counting on a few times won't kill me (I hope) My parents wouldn't want to pay for it so Im wondering how much I should put aside for it? Ive never gone to a tanning bed before, what is it like? Do you tan all in one go, or is it multiple sessions? Ive heard you have to get nude.....could I just wear my bathing suit?!? How long does it last.....any information would be very appreciated, thanks :)

if u don`t have a base tan, u should start out at probably about 5 min. & gradually increase the length of your sessions, to ensure u don`t get a nasty burn...u can wear a swimsuit, undies, or whatever u feel most comfortable wearing...depending on your needs & goals for tanning, the salon will be able to advise u on which tanning products & session packages will be most appropriate for u personally...plan to spend around $50 per month for unlimited visits to a regular 20-min bed (that means u can tan every day for a whole month), plus more for your tanning lotion (u can only use lotions specially formulated for a tanning bed, as they don`t contain mineral oils & other products that damage the tanning bed acrylics), which could be any where from $20 on up...there are also bronzing beds & stand-up beds, which usually cost more to use...the salon staff can explain in detail about each type of bed & the different products & their benefits...hope this helps!!! happy tanning!!!

They start you off at 5-8 minutes top and it will be a gradually change- and they will try to sell you this and that 25.00 or more lotions to "help" the process- You can pay by the session or by the month- pay no more than 30.00 for a month! - It is a good way to get a nice light tan to go into summer so you are not going to get burned but be safe and know that it is also aging your skin and will look like leather if you are a steady user! You can wear your bathing suit. just paties etc- make sure you clean the surface before you laydown(they should have anti-bacterial spray in the room!) and also make sure that no holes or areas are around where a person can see in at you!

well, you're not suppose to use oil in the tanning bed. you are suppose to use indoor tanning lotion only i mean it can also be used for outside too. but they usually have stickers to put on to see how much of a tan you are getting. i would say about 7-10 sessions depending. i mean tanning bed isnt instant tan. so dont over do it.

don't wear bathing suit, it gets very hot, and the suit could cause burning

most people who use these facilities want to avoid tan lines, with having to go nude outside
