Both are on the DL, so is this a good trade?

Both trades are good ones. While Sheff and swisher will post similar power and RBI numbers Sheff will easily hit for a higher average. Swisher is a career .260 hitter, Sheff a career .300 hitter and he is the DH this year so the body should have no problem holding up.
Johnson would be better than Garcia if his arm were broken. He has way more potential than garcia who again has posted very dissapointing career numbers ....not worthy of a fantasy starter. Johnson is back home and has no pressure...expect not a great season but a very solid one. Sounds like you have 2 good deals looking at you, make them both and enjoy the rewards. Good luck!

Neither trade are good or bad, you are basically trading the one thing for the same thing. Both Sheff and Swisher are 1b,OF and they will both put up similar numbers. Sheffield might have less of a risk factor since he'll be playing DH, but if both stay healthy there is no difference. Garcia is better than Johnson at this stage in both their careers, but their stats won't differ by much. The deciding factor in this trade would be who will get healthy first, and who will not have have lingering effects from their injury. Seeing that Garcia is younger he will probably bounce back better than Johnson. When he was with the Yankees he had some lingering effects from his injury. Garcia is a big game pitcher and the Phillies will be one of the contenders for the NL East so I predict he will be in a lot of big games. So if I were you I would take Sheffield, and keep Garcia.

what are your WR's.trade one for gates i8f not taken if u get a better WR they put up big yards so it won't matter if you make 1 or 2 bad trades we all do sometimes.A better wide receiver will make up for bad trades.
