The fair grounds are near mine and I hear these race cars evey Saturday night and they are so loud!♥

I think you must live in my town (Northern CA?). We live right next door to a sprint-car driver. When he starts his engine to tinker w/it, it basically drives me nuts.

Gaaaaah!!! I live right by the Burlington-Northern Train Yard. The long banging of trains and toots of whistles used to scare and/or annoy me. Now I hardly even notice it.
They opened the Chicago Motor Speedway down the street from my house, but now it's not in use... When they had races there it sounded like a giant swarm of bees was invading the suburbs.

I'm just a block from train tracks. And in the summer time once a week they have concerts across the street. That I don't complain about too much. I was able to see Pat Benatar for 5 bucks last summer.

There is a small civil aeronatics airport 1 mile from the house but I like the little planes and they quit flying around 10

i live on an air force base, so we have helicopters and b52 bomber airplanes that are always flying around, can get a lil noisy sometimes, plus the highway isn't far away either. I don't mind too much though.

Yeah...Ive got train tracks about 50 yards away. Be glad the cars only run on saturday and not all day, every day

Yes, my idiot neighbors and their stupid crap music. After asking repeatedly to turn it down and calling the cops numerous times, they still can't get a clue.

We have hoons that race their motorbikes up and down my street. I wish the police would catch them and book them for disturbing the peace....
