I love the book! It made me cry! But is the movie any good?

i never read the book, but i saw the movie and it made me cry!

the book is AMAZING! it was actually one of the few books that has ever made me cry. the movie is like a complete opposite from the book however. except for the characters names and the main storyline, everything is different, including character personalities. However, I did enjoy the movie as well, and i did shed some tears at the end. But i thought the book was much better and way more powerful. hope that helps!

i also loved the book. it made me cry, too. in fact i was in bed reading it and trying not to cry because i didn't want to wake up my husband. it was hard because i began to sob. anyways, i love the movie. it doesn't follow the book exactly but the story is still there. i sobbed throughout the entire movie. in fact, everytime it comes on i watch it, even though i have the dvd!!! (by the way, i read the book after i saw the movie)

I haven't read the book but I am a HUGE fan of Nicholas Sparks. I read The Notebook before watching the movie, and the movie was very accurate to the book. A walk to Remember is one of my favourite movies, I've seen it like 5 times and it makes me bawl like a baby everytime. I would recomment you seeing it. Enjoy!

My 17 year old sister has the movie and the book she told me that He gave his wedding ring back to her father. The Movie is REAL good too! it made me cry you should see it.

I love this movie! I just watched it today w/ my sisters and it was great! Don't know if it's like the book, cause I've never read it(going to though!), but it's still a good movie. It is sad though!

Yeah, it made me cry!
Mandy Moore looks so pretty in this movie and her leading man, Shane West, is so effective in acting.
The soundtrack is also very nice, all sung by Mandy Moore herself.. Cry, Only Hope...
watch it!!!

The movie is great.I don't usually watch thoose kind of movie's.But one weekend i was bored and caught it on t.v.Next thing i know i'm crying like a baby.I thought it was great.

I'm a guy and consider myself a manly guy. however iam also a christian. I'm not into chick movies, but very muched liked "A Walk to Remember." I even found my eyes watering up at the end.
I reccommend tthis movie.
