Why do we lock our worthless junk in the garage...?

You lock your garage? We don't -- but then again, there is no direct access to the house from our garage.

We have stuff in there to protect it from the elements. I suppose we could get a shed to put that stuff in so there would be adequate room for a car.

Relative to other cars, ours aren't expensive. Cars are designed to withstand the elements, and we do have insurance if a tree falls on them or something like that.

Because the garage is just a place to put our worthless junk and to cram our car in if need be

Plus, in my neighborhood, it's a code violation to put my junk in the driveway, and my nice car in the garage, I tried it~

we don'y have worthless junk in our garage we have expensive tools and such.
the car is insured more than the stuff so it will be ok

Because we all know we can't live without the junk. The car is insured... but some "junk" is irreplacable. It's our nature.... most of us do it. I have closets and closets of crap that I'm too lazy and attached to to get rid of it. Sigh.

good question! unfortunately i don't have a good answer...my cars are not expensive or nice at all......so i don't have to worry about parking in the driveway

If people wnat to present their "best" side, they will show off what looks good about them and keep their messy side hidden.

There's nowhere else to put it and nobody else wants it. I know it takes up space, but the attic is reserved for Christmas decorations and old clothes.
