Why do Republicans think that they'd be better for the U.S. at controlling the market than the government??

If they had the power, wouldn't they just invite the cheapest labor possible to come work for them?

Republicans do not want control the market. Republicans advocate capitalism and free markets. The Democrats are the party that wants control of the markets. The Republicans support small government while the Democrats support Big government.

You make it sound like cheap labor is a bad thing. If people are willing to work for a certain wage what is the problem? If it is not enough for them to live on, they should go get a better job or demand higher wages.

I am not quite sure what your question has to do with illegal immigration . . .
