I need some type of flasher that will make my regular turn signal lights to flash simultaneously. If they sell them at a store, which one? It's okay if I have to buy it online also? any tips on making my own with 2 different flashers on at different times? Thanks in advance!

Depending upon the year of your car.. you should have a button or knob with a red triangle on it.. pull it up.. or push it in and it should set all of your blinkers to flashing...

If you have an old car without the emergency flashers.. then I'm not sure if they sell anything to make them flash together.. instead you may want to install some really cool florescent green or blue or red lighting under your car (if it is legal in your state)...

Edit: oh.. to make your own.. you might want to install a switch of some kind.. and from it feed a flasher relay like the one used for your normal turn signals.. but.. you will need to isolate this one from your normal one.. perhaps some diodes to block unwanted signals.. etc.. ask your neighborhood geek for some help.. buy him/her a pizza and a 12 pack of coke and you can get a whole saturday worth of help.

You can use relays to get them together but you will have to hook up a resistor in series to mach the resistance of the bulbs. As for two different flashers, a second flasher and a switch from the column will work. A little playing (bench testing) will get what you want.

How about the emergency flashers button? The button has a triangle on it and may be behind your steering wheel or on the console with the temperature/radio controls. However, this only makes them flash together, not at different speeds.

Are you talking about the emergency flashers???

I think you may have what you are describing already. Look on the steering column and you should find the button for it.
