i wouldn't celebrate yet, the devils have nothing to play for. they are going to put in their 2nd stringers. and the Islanders are going to be thirsty. even if the Islanders lose (I hope not) the Leafs will come down to HuSBuC for an old fashioned dirt stomping courtesy of the Buffalo Sabres!!

i could attempt to do some thing like Dave Dombroski did for the Tigers (i are conscious of it incredibly is a distinctive sport even though it works quite much the comparable way). First, i could choose for a stable veteran participant who's additionally a stable chief, some thing like a Brendan Shanahan yet with a pair extra years left than him. He could have the potential to help the group win and instruct the extra youthful men. next, i could placed distinctive concentration on drafting. The mark of a stable franchise in any sport is an exact point group with men that got here during the equipment. i'm not sure how Toronto has drafted interior the previous yet, it is largely a wager, seeing how they have performed in contemporary times it may no longer have been too stable. faster or later, there could be a surplus of youthful gamers, it incredibly is a sturdy sign which you're drafting properly. At that factor, i could deal some gamers for a guy or 2 that could desire to take us over the precise and get the Leafs to the Cup. As for preparation, i'm not sure what i could do with Maurice. he's had some stable factors yet i'm not sure if the down factors are him or a fabricated from undesirable gamers. i could probably keep him around for slightly to work out if it grow to be one or the different. If it incredibly is him, i could hearth him and hire somebody who will win. If it incredibly is not him, then I keep him until he desires to flow away.

IF the Devils win tomorrow (TSN at 3:30), the Leafs will take the first round. The Sabres will choke hard like Cam Ward and the Hurricanes did this year.

If the Islanders beat the Devils tomorrow, then your celebration will be short lived. Of course the Isles MUST win tomorrow. One point for an OT loss isn't going to cut it. The Leafs would have the tiebreaker by virtue of more wins than the Isles.

My thoughts...
Let's go Islanders!!! That is gonna be one huge game in East Rutherford tomorrow! Will Marty Brodeur even play? He has his record and the Devils are locked into their spot.
What an improbable run for the Isles with DiPietro gone for a bunch of games and Wade Dubielewicz (who's that???) stepping in and saving the season! 5 things needed to go right:
1) NYI beats TOR
2) NYR beats MTL
3) NYI beats PHI
4) TOR beats MTL
5) NYI beats NJ
And we made it all the way through #4. That's just amazing. I hate needing to jump over the team that just gave us a huge game though.
Ah well, whatever it takes. Go Isles! :-)
