Candles...but really moonlight...now that is the ultimate in sheer romantic nirvana!

I would use the dimmer. While candles are more romantic,(assuming that is what you want) if you get too caught up in the moment, you can do so without worrying about a fire starting.
And yes, fires have been started because of that.

Love candles and they are romantic but dimmer switch is adjustable, right lighting on right places at right time...

dimmer switch. That way I dont have to worry about knocking a candle over or forgetting to blow them out

dimmers ...cause when you sneak off to the bedroom...you might forget about the candles.Or have to stop and blow them out...ruins the mood.
Plus, the lights, unlike other things, keep going and going and going....tehe..
whaaaat? I meant that the candles will burn down too fast...silly.
Plus, candles are too soothing...makes me just want to put on my jogging pants, pull a good book and read.

lights with dimmer switch. I have asthma, a lot of candles are scented and send me into a asthma attack.
