I think the Original Trilogy (OT) was different than the Prequel Trilogy (PT). They are all one story, and really are the same in all aspects except for the effects. The acting, dialogue, themes are all continuous through the series. I think the PT was recieved coolly because people were expecting more of the OT style (more fun, humorous, appealing to younger audiences, "used universe" etc) than the PT (more political, darker characters, "cleaner universe", aimed more to more mature audiences etc). What they got was more "Classic Sci Fi" than the dirty, clanky X-wings and Millenium Falcon. It's all what people expect. I personally enjoy all the episodes equaly. They are all of one body of work. You can have favorite scenes and such, but to say that one trilogy is better than the other is not only a deception of memory, but missing the whole point of the series.

Not a chance. Granted that Lucas wanted to give us an in depth look at Darth Vader, but the fact remains that the old ones are better. Full of famous moments like "No, I am your father.", you cant beat that! The music was more memorable too. John Williams gaves us some of his best during the old Star Wars trilogy and you cant beat that either. No way! The old is my favorite and is the best.

And undergo in recommendations you have been greater effective than probably lots youthful once you observed 4-6 so have been greater actually inspired. My youngsters can watch a speaking sponge for hours on end and be entertained. :D I dont individually like the hot trilogy as lots the two, yet im historical and undergo in recommendations seeing the 1st ones as they have been popping out. My youngsters regardless of the undeniable fact that love the hot trilogy merely as lots because of the fact the previous ones and maximum youngsters ive asked approximately it agree. the place you start to lose following is say ~15 and up, i think of greater to do with "all and sundry else hates it, as a result so do I" than rather loathing.

HAHA don't make me laugh. The old trilogy will go down in history as an all-time great while the new ones will be quitely swept under the rug.

Is this a serious question? The original, untampered with, trilogy are three of the greatest sci-fi films ever made.

No, I don't. The new ones rely on gimmicks instead of story-telling. That's fine, but I enjoyed the original three better.
