first u mulitply -5 and 12
and u get -60
now find the factors of -60 that add or subtract to -11
6 and 10-no
2 and 30-no
3 and 20-no
4 and 15-yes
since its negative 11 the larger number is negative
so now replace 11x with -15x+4x
u get 12x^2-15x+4x-5
find the common factors of 12x^2-15x and 4x-5
you get 3x(4x-5)+1(4x-5)
now take the outside terms and put them in ()
(3x+1)
and then you get
(3x+1)(4x-5)
that's ur answer
