We have no choice, it's either that or die. It can be worth living if you work hard to be make it be worth it. Be happy and enjoy what you have, don't fret over trivial, unimportant matters, have loving relationships with your family, friends, etc.

I was once asked by a teenager,
caught in the midst of angst,
if life was worth all the grief and pain,
the sorrow and suffering.
I thought for a bit
and found I had but one reply
to the question.
A resounding, yes.
It was worth all the turmoil and trouble
to make the trip.
I had learned so much
and seen even more.
Life is so diverse and full of joy
that I would be sorry to leave it
as I must.
The experiences I have had
and the pleasures I have found
has made life a journey
that I could not miss.
So, yes!
It is worth it all
to walk life’s path
regardless where it takes you.
You can be sure
it would be somewhere
you would otherwise,
have missed.
Life has its bumps and even disasters, but though it all, it is worth it. Remember the philosopher’s admonition: “That which does not kill you makes you stronger!”

the worth of life is nothing or everything...depending on how you interpret the word. the purpose of life is nothing...or everything however you interpret. Think of the universe as a whole. one person living and making mistakes makes no difference/ we, as human beings, do not have the right to say what is right and wrong, or what is "worth" and "not worth." We're just another animal living on this planet, so as far as is it worth LIVING? no one can answer that, only you can answer that for yourself.to me, life not having a purpose makes life more exciting and worth living.

Yes. Worth and value are relative terms. Life upon this planet is a mere blip on the cosmic screen. Live it however you like, without making some other's life miserable. No one really knows what life or our existence here on earth means as all of our knowledge is made and defined by humans. We continue to search for the answers, but our questions can only be directed to other humans who have no answers. This is precisely the reason we must have faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen.

Perhaps I am up too late. Your question seems to answer itself, upside down, sideways or whatever. In what way could life NOT be worth living? All living things live to thrive. However varied, or subjective that may be. Whatever the paths, the sign posts, the temporary adversities. To thrive is the goal of all things, & that is to live, & that is life. What is its "worth?" There is a single force moving within everything; we are interconnected, every action or inaction effects the whole. Infinitely. How could this be "worthless?"

Life, no matter whose life it is, is worth living. We should live= take a chance, try something new, say " the martian bunnies are gonna attack!!!!!!!!!!" just to see the reaction of someone, to get up and not be afraid to look like an idiot, to enjoy what you have and be thankful for it. Life is worth living if you actually live life. Life is such a precious gift that should never be wasted by sitting on the couch with a bag of chips watching "I Love Lucy" reruns.

Yes, it is unquestionably worth living. The life of every single individual on earth contributes to society; as I see it is always a positive contribution. Why? Because we are humans and we learn from mistakes from observation and our perception of right and wrong. More importantly, experience is what matters in this world. I mean, being able to use our senses to feel is something that should never be thrown away. Those that see life as a drudgery are wasting their life time. There are no obstacles in life, one places them in the road. Always remember, "pain is weakness."

Seems like a solid question, but let's examine this...
Replace the word "life" with "a dime".
Replace the word "living" with "10 cents".
Is a dime worth ten cents?
Of course. When you speak of worth you are comparing an item with what you spend on it.
Your life is spent living. So of course. All the great and glorious pain and suffering mixed with the dreadful, horrific ecstasy.
And vice versa.
Ask a soup question.

Hi Dax,
Of course... It gets greater later.. You should remember that...
We all ride the "roller coaster" that is life, but once you reach a steady pace.. and understand that there will be obstacles, that you have to overcome, you'll better understand how to deal with things.. and embrace the changes, instead of pushing them away.. and hopefully at that point such questions won't find its way into your mind.... :)
>>>>>>>>
Every soul on this planet, has a unique perception and view of life, and each has their own story to tell... They have astounding abilitys of perception, and abstract views that can either result, in a positive or negative cause and effect, enhancing life or destroying it all together............
"Seeing" what we do with our "gifts", make life worth living.... :-)
>>>>>>
Thanks, for the question! :)
*Have a Wonderful Easter Weekend*
My regards!
Take care!

Of course life is worth living! I have no doubt in my mind that God put us on this Earth to be ministers of those in the dark. I'll admit, there are times when I'll still wonder if it really is worth living, but I remember His promises and count my blessings then life is again, wonderful! ^_^
