The most I've given was a couple of pennies I think...People should commit "random acts of kindness", but don't go over board with it. I'd never give a large sum of money to a complete stranger...you never know if they're pulling your leg or not.

Yes, I check at work sometimes........you'd be amazed how many people are "short". I do it just to get them out of my line.....they just stand there and stare like some magic fairy is gonna jump from behind the counter with magic gold nuggets.

Yes I have. Mainly because I was behind them, and they had a little kid and I knew the thing they would get rid of was his toy. Couldn't stand to see the little guy crushed.

I've never been in a situation that called for it, but I think I would. I've loaned those club cards that you need at chains to get the sale prices.
