They are dirty and disgusting and turn my stomach. Ants and spiders aren't that bad and I don't mind touching them but a roach, gross. What are roaches for?

God did not create cockroaches. They are an evil government conspiracy. Sorry, I can't actually answer your question, but after living with them for a while, I just had to get it out of my system.
BTW, cover every opening into your home around the plumbing, etc with duct tape and I swear you'll never see another one!

When the world becomes inhabitable which it is becoming, the cockroaches will live on for a spell. Not sure about Cher.

well they are an important part of the ecosystem. they make easy hunting for birds and other small mammals. they are omnivore scavengers so the help clean up all the little garbage that mankind leaves.

My dad's from the south & knows all about them.
If you ever find one you better make sure you kill it as if your life depends on it. Cause one will turn into 20 & make sure you completly dry your dishes and counter tops.
Cause those nasty things can live w/o food, but they can't live without water.
