Sometimes if one of the grandmas lives in a retirement community, they will let her use the community room for a shower. You could ask around to see if there is a church basement available. Or you could check local restaurants and see if they will rent their banquet room. Local granges also often rent out space for showers. And of course there are businesses that make their living renting out space for events like this.

Most VFW's and American Legions have halls that they rent out at a reasonable rate. The Elks also rent out their halls.

most any church, some libraries, and lots of clubs like the lions club , etc, have rooms to rent as do some resturants, also city parks often have an indoor building with a party room.

also try to a local park district. they ofen have community centers that can be rented.
