If you have committed a crime, and its still your darkest secret, what would you do to get it out of your system, or would you keep it until you die and go to hell?

I stabbed my husband twice (in one incident). This is not a joke. I have completed my probation, but it was he that saved me from 10 years of prison or more!!! Oh yah, my uncle was the State Marshall, that helped a little, maybe.
