I think both actually make excellent pets. Cats don't require you to be home all the time and you can go away for a weekend and just leave them food and water and a litter box and they are fine when you get home. Dogs are excellent because they give you someone to walk with every day a few times a day. They give love without question or conditions and are also protective.

I have a cat but would rather have a dog. cats are prissy and do their own thing where as dogs are by your side, attentive and a best friend at times.. you can see the love in their eyes when they look at you. A cat is, well you know lol just a cat....

CATS!!!!!!!! i appreciate cats. wager you could tell - my username, my % (it truly is my kitty, Abadabadoo) ok, cats are lovable and cuddlely. you won't be able to easily say they sit down round, sleep, and devour, through the indisputable fact that's very few cats. My cat is 5, and he performs like a kitten. He purrs to sleep on your lap. What different type of convenience do you want? in case you call his call, he comes and rubs adversarial on your legs, treating you want you're the in simple terms important imagine, next to the food dish. some cats are emotionally affectionate, some are not. And in the journey that they are outdoor cats, they do no longer have undesirable smelling muddle or get on your counters. So fairly, once you've a staggering, emotional outdoor cat, you have not any complications! it is also a threat to coach cats in case you commence in kittenhood. Cats are sooo cool! dogs, you nonetheless could walk them, and they bark for all time. Yeah, you could prepare them and stuff, yet cats are cooler. Cats cuddle on your lap and love you, dogs walk round and sniff your butt. BTW- What Heidi is declaring is nice. Cats would properly be diverse. in case you oftentimes have mean cats, your gonna hate cats, yet once you've a real, amazing, appealing, playful kitty, you'll see the solid aspects of kitties. I really have an emotional kitty, per chance you do not and characteristic under no circumstances considered one. yet there are some accessible. the finest thanks to get a fantastic kitty is to get a kitten correct from their mom and carry it up... that's what I did to my well known kitty. God bless, =:-)~

Cats, good for mice, much easier to take care of, you don't have to kennel them when you want to take a vacation. They can sit on you without crushing you, they don't bark, you don't have to freeze your butt off outside to exercise them, you don't have to worry about stepping in their poop in the yard.
I love dogs too, i have both, but they're so much more work.
For those that think dogs have a better personality. You've not met my cat, she thinks she's a dog. She fetches, she always has to be near you, touching you. She licks your face and toes, she chases her tail. She's a riot!

Dogs are like having another kid, and I already have three of those, I prefer cats because they are more independent, but I'll probably get a dog once my kids are older.

really depends on the type of person you are. some people like dongs and some cats. i at first didnt like cats at all, but had one and really liked it. really just depends on your personality, and the level of care you're willing to provide for them. If you want a pet that is easy to take care of, you most likely want a cat, since dogs tend to require more care.
i personally like dogs. dogs rule!
