I think the first guy who answered is talking about Everquest II....

There are no mounts on Guild Wars.

Travel in GW is very easy -- once you visit a town or outpost the first time, you can go back there instantly at any time. So covering large distances is very fast and easy.

There are some skills which increase movement speed (for you or for your whole group.)

There are a variety of horses you can purchase from the stockade in West Freeport, near the bank. The purchases range from several platinum to a combination of platinum and status points (which are earned by doing quests, selling certain items, etc). If you belong to a Guild, there are advantages to the Guild's Level... the higher the level, the lower the costs of various items, like the horses, housing, or items to be placed in your home.

If you own one of the expansion packs, then you can also get a carpet. A carpet dealer can be found in East Freeport, near the ratonga that takes your collectable set items.

Have Fun!

Sorry no mounts, but there are skills which increase movement speed. I think there is one that works for all characters within shouting distance. So if you have a warrior in your party they might have it.
