The result is dead people in the streets of Baghdad.

Granted Bush has killed many more and is therefore the better killer. But the people of Baghdad suffer the same no mater who is killing them.

Because Bush is giving them the gift of Democracy, we are a generous nation when it comes to spending cash to free people. We did shock and awe to help them with surgical strikes using the fairly inexpensive Tomahawk cruise missile only $575,000 each. One ship the USS Bunker Hill launched 13 of these inexpensive instruments of liberation. These surgical strikes are so precise they only kill bad guys. Only adult males are slain and these were all either members of Saddams army or future members of various militas collectively known as insurgents. Within a short time President Bush declared Mission accomplished and we have been passively watching the newly liberated Iraqi people basking in Democracy ever since. Or so the neocon fairy tale goes.

According to Bush, Saddam killed innocent people while Bush is killing "terrorists." It always depends on who is writing the history. You are right, the result is dead people on the streets of Iraq. Under Bush there are a lot more dead people than when Saddam was there. It would be reasonable to assume many would prefer to go back to having Saddam. When asked, the vast majority of Iraqis wish we would get out.

Right to self determination is at stake...remember the "freedom isn't free" cliche. Freedom will only take hold in Iraq when Iraqi would have overthrown Saddam themselves than liberty would have been earned therefore sacred and valued. They have no appreciation for what they have here by the way they are acting because they didn't make the decision...they didn't perform their own revolution. They took the blue pill instead of the red pill.

Saddam was killing innocent Iraqis, Bush is killing terrorists that want to stop Iraq from becoming a democracy.

Maybe a question you should ask yourself is this: Why did I not care an iota when Hussein was killing Iraqis by the HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS, but since Bush is "killing" them too I suddenly care about them. By the way, I seriously doubt that Bush is more responsible for more deaths than Hussein

you just cant leave everything to God - akband - its time we came out of our little cave of ignorance and superstition and faced the facts in our face. jaypea - I live in Dubai and people here hate Bush. Saddam & Osama Bin Laden are heroes and martyrs here. I'm a Bush hater - i havent got my head chopped off. Maybe the figures given are wrong but the point is - Bush is a criminal and he should be tried for massacre in the International Court of Justice, and so should Ariel Sharon (he ordered the Shattla and Shabila massacre in Palestine)

Who's dying in Iraq, and who's to blame?
-Over 3,000 Americans killed in America by a group of terrorists, that we still don't know for sure who they were or were from
-Over 3,000 Americans killed in Iraq because of WMD's (none found) and a terrorist act committed in America
-Over 100,000 Iraqi's killed before the Iraqi war as the result of Sadaam's policies
-Over 100,000 Iraqi's killed after the Iraqi war as the result of Bush's policies

Who's winning in the killing sweepstakes?
Bush is number 1!

I quite agree Larry, and Saddam did it all for free. Actually they are suffering a lot more now that the invaders (US nazis soldiers, torturers, murderers of children, etc.) are there. American soldiers are the reason many Americans spit on the flag of the U.S.. Bush has done so much more harm to his (?) country than he cares to admit. Devil spawn Bush deserves much more than pain and so does his dirty wife.

Bush is an AMERICAN and the DECIDER. Doesn't that give him the right? The number of Iraqi civilians that have died in this war sickens me. Not to mention the thousands of Americans that won't be coming home ever.
