i have to believe that only you can answer that. if your friends are friends, they will understand not spending every weekend with them. and most parents understand that their child(ren) have a need of a social life. four weekends a month. that's 2 a piece. when there is 5 in the month use the extra 1 four just yourself. as for the drinking, just watch when a friend is drunk, you may act the same way. you should make the decision to consume only when you feel your ready with no peer pressures.

Hang out friday night with your friends, then spend the weekend at home.
Or go out with your friends on Saturday. Just choose a time and go. Your parents will understand, and as long as you don't go out for the entire weekend you can still spend time with them.

One weekend is for parents and the next is for your friends, alternate between weekends.
Is there something wrong with hanging with either of the two on weekdays?
If neither is complaining, then i see no reason for worry.

no. stop. do yourself a HUGE favor. stay the heck away from alcohol. if they are trying to get you to drink, they aren't your friends. spend time with your parents and try to meet some people who aren't going to endanger you and your life. there are enough horror stories about alcohol, don't be in one.

You have plenty of time to drink. Don't rush it! Family is important and time with them is precious.
