hi, name's julie, from the USA. i have never been to India before. However i wanna visit Goa sometime cuz i heard it was a nice place with lots of beaches. how is Goa like? the people and the environment? also i don't know any Indian languages. The only languages i speak are English, Italian and Spanish.

i am only 1/3 indian, cuz my dad's white, and my mom's half italian and half indian.

*Goa isn't a city, it's a state.....& it's capital is Panaji.
If you know English, that's cool. It'll make do for Goa (some people speak Portuguese there) & all the major Indian cities.
Ya, the beaches are gr8....In fact I'm going there next week cos this is the off-season & prices are dirt-cheap.
North Goa has retained the hippie culture & the beaches are relatively sparse in people & clothes!
The churches, a heritage of the Portuguese, are very old & incredibly beautiful.

oh Cool i am from india and i am now in usa and i visit goa like every year.Its so cool there are so many beaches the best is the calangut beach its someting like that there are bazars on roads where u can shop so many things like shoes, dresses, jewellery etc u must go there its really fun u can also visit forts and lots of places it u dont know what are forts u should go there and see.
