Propyl alcohol can have 2 isomers.

There are 3 carbons in propyl alcohol. When the alcohol group is on the end carbon, it is called n- propanol or 1 propanol. When the alcohol group is on the middle carbon, it is 2 propanol or isopropanol.

Propyl alcohol, more apropriately names propanol, is just a three carbon alcohol, C3H7OH. It does not suggest the molecule's structure/shape.
Isopropyl alcohol, or isopropanol indicated the three carbon atoms are not in a straight chain, but in a T shape.
