well if you are a sponge then you absorb all the information you can get. Now if I'm looking up stuff for a research paper and i find other interesting facts about something else i'll read about it and learn what i can and just let the tide on the ocean keep rising and feeding the shores of my mind with knowledge.

Sometime I feel like there is now way I am ever going to be able to remember all the stuff I am learning in school. There are theories, absolutes, personal experience, and federal guidelines, pharmacology, and intuition. I have read so much about so many different things. and some of it I have been tested on some of it. and some it I would guess is supposed to stick in my brain. I don't know what has stuck until someone asks me a question, if I know the answer then it stuck.

In philosophy and general knowledge I try to discern and get a feel for whether what is being said is for the sake of trying to understand or if it is the product of an agenda. When it comes to technical knowledge I simply accept that there's too much information and I have to rely on specialists to help me with the things I don't know.

Oh my yes, I am so detailed that I often want to get everything to the point of exhaustion.
Most info is worth taking in for me, however I usually focus on spiritual, metaphysical & intellectual stuff. I read alot & don't watch much TV.

I'm definately an infomaniac...if you are truly an infomaniac, you will take anything you can get because you have a tremendous memory.
I try to avoid conjecture, mainstream media information, hearsay, and anything else that is not conclusive.

Everyone's mind works in a certain way. You absorb information based on the way your mind works. For me, I would absorb anything that had to do with culture. Others might absorb everything to do with Science.

I just read things. I dont even need proof that its real information. I just like knowing things. Very useful in life. For example, never mix chlorine and bleach. or magnesium and water. stuff like that. plus, it helps impress the ladies when you know tons of things. Lots of stuff to talk about.

I do a lot of scanning. Maybe I will miss something, but I am getting pretty good at it. If something catches my eye, I slow down.
