Personally Im working on trying to get a girl im interested in to go out on a boat with me to see some dolphins and what not.
Mostly Im hoping its cold so I can have a reason to hug up on her, and then hope the dolphins add to the romantic aspect of the date.

Movies are bad for dates. Go for a picnic, play pool or darts, go cycling, walk in the park (not as cheesy as it sounds), or go to the local zoo or aquarium, or take in an amusement park if you live near one.

Hiking, take along a picnic lunch. Go to the beach, boating, swiming, suntaning. Bungee jumping, skiing, cycling.... Depends on where you live, and what's available near you I guess.
