38 = 2x19. . .it is NOT prime
39 = 3x13. . .it is NOT prime
41 = 1x41 (only) . . . it IS prime!

It's 41. 38 is divisible by 2 and 39 by 3.

You need to bone up on your prime number rules.

2 is the ONLY even prime number. That eliminates 38.

39 is divisible by 3. 3 x 13 = 39. This eliminates 39.

41 is a prime number.

47 is also prime.
